Many of you know that I've been speaking/sharing for a number of years about the "JOY on the Journey" of Life, which is found through Jesus Christ. In light of that, I was THRILLED to find The JOY Dare, based on Ann Voskamp's Book One Thousand Gifts. The "Dare" is to record 1,000 gifts from God in a year. Get your family and friends involved in the Dare! What a GREAT way to share JOY!
I wanted to do a quick post with the link for The Joy Dare for March, so those who are interested can jump in! I just downloaded the "One Thousand Gifts, A Thousand Thanks" ap on my phone, too!
My response to Today's (March 15) Dare "Three gifts given away:"
My friend, Dick Bowley's book, A Journey In The Light |
Christmas Pajamas, (and dinner, and memories) given to Family and Friends |
A beautiful Bird of Paradise for a friend's birthday! |
I DARE YOU to focus on the JOY in your life! Please take a moment to post a comment below and let me know if you're going to take the Dare! I hope you will!
P.S. For more information, and inspiration, I highly recommend Ann Voskamp's blog, A Holy Experience. On Mondays, I will be joining her link up to share my list of JOY-filled gifts!

Thanks, Jamie, looks like a book I'd enjoy!

Ok I am going to try this. I have alot of empty journals. So each day write down 3 things that bring joy? now what if I am behind two months already.
ReplyDeleteKim, I'm going to try to catch up with one or two extra a day. I'm behind, too! Here's the link for March "Ideas" to get you started! Cut and paste the following link, and scroll down for a list to get you started for the rest of March:
